What is an SDX report?

Node ID: pdf_report

An SDX report is the human-facing rendering of governed report data.

It is designed for institutional readers who need decision material that is understandable, bounded, and traceable. The report may include summaries, possibility spaces, limitations, reproducibility statements, and appendix references, but it is not the evidence source itself.

The report remains downstream of the sealed run, evidence chain, statement governance, report data package, and LLM boundary. Its authority comes from those layers, not from narrative style, visual design, or language fluency.

This distinction matters. A PDF can make evidence usable for decision-makers, but it cannot create evidence, expand claims, or authorize conclusions beyond the governed data behind it. In SDX, the report is a rendering of controlled decision material, not a free-standing analytical product.
